Vidya Balan is an actor who is known for her unconventional roles in Bollywood. She has bagged several movie awards including a National Film Award in the year 2011 for her role in The Dirty Picture. She started her journey with a Bengali drama film Bhalo Theko. The actor set her foot in Bollywood with drama film Parineeta. Her good acting and personality got her another crucial role in the top-grossing comedy film Lage Raho Munna Bhai, which released in 2006. The actor has done some remarkable movies and also some movies that tanked.

Here are some of Vidya Balan's movies that tanked at box office

1. Bobby Jasoos

The movie is about a girl, Bobby, who aspires to become the number one detective in the old city area of Hyderabad. Bobby's father is against the detective business and wants Bobby to get married and settle down. What happens next is a series of hilarious events that take place when Bobby starts investing in a businessman. However, the movie failed to meet the audiences' expectations and tanked at the box office. Box Office India termed the movie a flop.

2. Kahaani 2

After the massive success of Kahaani, Kahaani 2 was the next thriller film that the audience had faith in. But somehow, the movie failed to create magic at the box office and eventually tanked. According to Box Office India, the movie was a flop and made a profit of only Rs. 32.7 crore. The story follows Vidya Sinha (Vidya Balan) and her daughter Mini, who gets kidnapped. How this incident is linked to her mysterious past is all about the movie's storyline.

3. Hamari Adhuri Kahani

In the movie, Vidya Balan is seen sharing the screen space with Emraan Hashmi. Vidya is seen as Vasudha, a single mother whose life revolves around her son. On the other hand, Hashmi is a successful hotel magnate Aarav who later meets Vasudha. This meeting brings about changes in both their lives. The movie is a tragic love story. However, it failed to meet audiences' expectations. This is why, according to Box Office India, it was a flop.
