Vijay Varma is refusing serial killer roles

During the interview, Vijay Varma said that his character Hamza in Darlings appealed to him as he had no progression through the movie's runtime. He said the character was horrible from start to finish. "It’s not like I am saying no to bad guys, I want them to surprise me. Darlings… Hamza surprised me. "He started as an a***ole, he continued to be an a***ole, he died an a***ole. So there’s no arc, per se. That was very interesting for me," he continued. Vijay then mentioned that he knew that he could portray "only one serial killer in this career" or else it would get boring. "I picked the right one for Dahaad and then I am done with it. So now I am saying no to two serial killer stories a week. I tell them I am done with my serial killers," the actor said.
