Vir Das And Vishal Dadlani Stand Up For 'Kaju Katli' As King of Diwali Sweets After Outrageous Internet War

The 'Festival of Lights', Diwali has finally arrived and has grasped people around the country. From colourful bright lights to mouth-watering delicacies, the Hindu festival is celebrated in the country with much pomp and cheer. Other than lights, decorations and fireworks, another integral part of Diwali is an array of mouth-watering sweets. From Laddu's to delicious Jalebis, you name it and we will have it all! 

With a wide range of choices of sweets, comes the inevitable differences of opinion, of which one is the best. Recently, one such situation has led to an outrageous Internet war with Kaju Katli at the centre of the debate.

Asking for a war of words, a media publication classified one of the most savoured Indian sweet, 'Kaju Katli' in the bottom rank. Moreover, they went as far as defining the milk-based treat with a derogatory term that did not sit well with many Netizens.

Sparking an online debate and making the term 'Kaju Katli' trend on Twitter, was Bollywood actor and comedian Vir Das and Indian singer Vishal Dadlani. Heavily criticizing putting Kaju Katli on the bottom tier, Das hit out a tweet and said "You did NOT just put Kaju Ka barfi in the bottom tier. You folks are starting a war! Other than that...pretty bang on :-)"

Further responding to Vir Das' tweet, singer Vishal Dadlani said "Damn straight! Leave India and go live somewhere else, if you don't think Kaju Katli is the king of all Diwali sweets!"
