'Vishwaroopam 2' : The 60-second Trailer Of This Kamal Haasan Film Will Keep You At The Edge Of The Seat

Kamal Haasan fans were in for a surprise when he released a new trailer for his upcoming film 'Vishwaroopam 2'. The film is a sequel to the 2013 film 'Vaishwaroopam' which was a monstrous hit at the box-office. The one-minute trailer which was unveiled on the sets of his reality show 'Bigg Boss Tamil' season 2 has many explosive high-octane moments. The new trailer begins with a small reminder of what happened in the first part, with the ouster of army general Wisam Ahmed Kashmiri (Kamal Haasan) for "failing in his duty as an officer and as a gentleman". The 63-year-old looks impressive in the trailer as an officer who is out to fight corruption. The trailer switches between Wisam's past and present. 

The film also stars Pooja Kumar, Rahul Bose, Shekhar Kapur and Waheeda Rehman. The trailer ends with a question that Pooja Kumar asks in the first part as well. “Who are you?”. Well, the trailer manages to give a fairly good answer. Kamal Haasan in a very coerce voice while talking to someone whose face is not visible in the promo says, "I am a soldier turned bloody espionage agent." The music is high-octane and keeps you gripped asking for more. Composer Ghibran has done a good job with the background which very well goes with the mood of the plot. For the first part of the film, the soundtrack was composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, with the Tamil lyrics written by Vairamuthu and Haasan himself, while Javed Akhtar translated them for the Hindi version.

The first trailer of the film did not reveal too much about the film, while this tries to encapsulate a lot of action in 60-seconds gripping the audience attention. 'Vishwaroopam' is a two-part series directed by Kamal Haasan and produced by Raj Kamal Films International along with Aascar International. 'Vishwaroopam', the first installment of the film that released in 2013, revolved around a classical dance teacher, who is suspected by his wife for having an extra-marital affair. She sets an investigator behind him but soon discovers that he is connected to a world that no one can ever think of. 'Vishwaroopam 2' is slated to hit the screens on August 10.
