WAR movie's box office collection has now surpassed that of Dhoom 3

Taran Adarsh is a film critic and journalist most known for his box office predictions and collections reports. On social media, Taran Adarsh gave a breakdown of how War has fared commercially compared to other highest-grossing action movies such as Dhoom 3 and Sultan. War's most impressive feat as of now is that it has beaten the lifelong domestic collection of Dhoom 3 on Wednesday, which was yesterday, October 16, 2019. It is to be noted that all these numbers are based solely on the domestic Indian gross of the films and not the total worldwide collection. As of today, October 17, 2019, War has made around ₹271.65 crores, not including any other language other than Hindi. In comparison, Dhoom 3 made around ₹261 crores while Sultan made around ₹278 crores when only counting their Hindi collection in India. War has already beaten Dhoom 3 and it will also likely surpass Sultan soon. However, when counting the Tamil and Telugu box office collection as well, War has made ₹284.20 crores, which still falls short of Sultan and Dhoom 3's total domestic gross.

At the worldwide box office, War has an impressive approximate collection of around ₹413.38 crores. The film was directed by Siddharth Anand. It movie was produced by Yash Raj Films (YRF). It is now the fourth film from YRF to join the top 10 highest-grossing Indian films.
