The incident took place at the trailer launch of ‘Mission Mangal’, where apart from Akshay and Kriti, other members of the star cast like Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Nithya Menen, Sharman Joshi and HG Dattatreya were also present.

Akshay was narrating an anecdote from their shooting schedule about bringing food to the sets. While talking about Kirti bringing food only for one person, he calls her ‘Kriti.’  Kirti immediately asked, ‘Sir, please say my name again.”

Akhay then corrects it, and he then says, “Sorry, I made a mistake."

Kirti says 'Thank you' and then adds, “I can understand you have worked with two Kritis, but my name is Kirti,” before bursting out laughing.

She was referring to ‘Housefull 4’, where Akshay is working with Kriti Sanon and Kriti Kharbanda.

As even Nithya Menen said that everyone usually called her ‘Kriti’, the ‘Shaitan’ fame actress was quick to point out that Vidya, Sonakshi or Taapsee always said it the right way.
