Actor Ranvir Shorey who has proved his talent with films like 'Khosla Ka Ghosla', 'Traffic Signal', 'Bheja Fry' 'Mithya' and his latest 'Sonchiriya' took to his Twitter account to share his thoughts on the upcoming elections.
As the first phase of polling begins on April 11, Ranvir Shorey posted a video captioning it as: "My fellow Indians, in the fine tradition of entertainers talking politics, here is my pre #Elections2019 special. Watch and share. Jai Hind"
He began the speech by saying: "Dosto, chunaav sir par hai aur maine dekha hai kahi saare kalaakar desh ki janta ko soch samajhkar vote dene ko bol rahe hain lekin saath saath kya sochna chahiye wo bhi bata rahe hain. Main unki neeyat se bilkul sehmat hoon lekin meri soch meri apni hai usi tarah jaise meri vote meri apni hai."
Talking about the Modi Government, Shorey said: "Main sochta hoon ki aaj desh ki jo problems hain wo kya pichle 5 saalo mein hi paida hui hain? 5 saal pehle tak kya hamara desh sahi raaste par chal raha tha? Kya 5 saal pehle is desh mein koi dange nai hue the? Kisi gareeb ko mazhab ke naam pe maara ya kuchla nai gaya tha? Kya is desh mein bhook aur berozgaari nai thi? In sabki zimmedaari ek 5 saal puraani sarkaar pe daal dena theek nai hai, nainsaafi hai. Itne bade desh ki itni badi problems 5 saalo mein nai sudhaari jaa sakti hai."
He then took a dig at the Congress Government and said: "Jo log 60 saalo mein nai sudhaar paaye wo ab nyaay ki baat karte hain. Ek hi parivaar peedhi dar peedhi is desh par raaj kare, kya ye nyaay hai? Mehlo mein rehne wale, chaar peedhiyo se raaj karne wala nafrat ki baat karte hain. Wo kya jaante hain saalo mein samaaj mein gareebi aur anyaay ka aakrosh kya hota hai."
He concluded his speech by saying: "Kehte hain ki public ki yaad-daash bohot choti hoti hai, bohot jaldi cheezein bhool jaate hain. Main aapko sirf ye hi yaad dilana chahta hoon ki vote zaroor dijiye, bilkul soch samajhkar dijiye.
Lekin vote aapki, soch aapki, dusro ki nai.
Aapka vote. Aapki soch. Jai Hind"
