WATCH: Salman Khan and Arbaaz Khan's big 'Dabangg 3' announcement drops from the skies

Salman Khan announced that 'Dabangg 3' is all set to go on floors on Monday, April 1. The actor and his brother Arbaaz are currently in Indore to start shooting for the film.

The release of the Bollywood film 'Dabangg' on September 11, 2010, gave birth to Salman Khan's character Chulbul Pandey. It is one of Salman Khan's most loved character to date. With Salman Khan promising 'Dabangg 3' for 2019, fans of the actor are thrilled and are eagerly anticipating the film.

While fans were eagerly waiting for further updates on the film, Salman on Sunday, March 31, took to Twitter and announced that the film is all set to go on floors on Monday, April 1 in Indore. The actor took to Instagram and extended a video message for his fans where he can be seen posing with brother Arbaaz Khan on a private jet. In the video, which seems to have been shot on their way, the sibling duo can be heard saying that they are in Indore for the shooting of the film. They also opened up their plan for the stay and stated that the shooting of the film will take place in an area which is apparently their birthplace. Their grandfather who used to work in the Police force was posted in the area. 

Salman captioned the post saying, "Back in our birthplace for #Dabangg3 shoot @arbaazkhanofficial"

In the film, Salman plays the role of a brave, flamboyant policeman while Sonakshi Sinha takes of the role of his wife. Chulbul Pandey who initially had a troubled relationship with his father, played by Vinod Khanna and stepbrother, Makkhi (Arbaaz Khan), eventually gets along with them and the story of the film develops around the same.

Meanwhile, besides this project, Salman is all set to grace the silver screen with his stint in 'Bharat'. Apart from him, the film stars Disha Patani, Katrina Kaif, Tabu, and Sunil Grover. 'Bharat' revolves around the journey of Salman Khan's character and India from 1947 to the early 2000s. The makers of the film previously dropped the teaser of the film which was widely appreciated by the audience. It is all set to hit the theatres on June 5, 2019.
