WATCH: Veteran actress Nafisa Ali gets hair shorn by grandchildren as she undergoes chemotherapy

Veteran actress Nafisa Ali recently revealed that she was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer in November. Now, the 61-year-old has posted a video where she can be seen getting her hair cut by her grandchildren. 

She took to the photo-sharing app and captioned the post as "Asked my grandchildren to cut my hair as then they will not realise that I am going through Chemo. We had fun! "

A few days ago, the veteran actress posted a picture of her hair falling as she was undergoing cancer treatment. 

Posting the picture on Instagram, she wrote"My hair has started falling out in heaps ... it made me cry ... not for vanity but the reality that I have cancer and that Chemotherapy is working finally sank in. I will shave my hair off tomorrow."

The actress has acted in films such as 'Life in a Metro', 'Junoon', 'Major Saab', 'Yamla Pagla Deewana' among others. She also contested the Lok Sabha election in 2009 from Lucknow. But, she had rejoined the Congress party in the same year.

She is married to Col R.S. Sodhi and has three children – Armana, Pia and Ajit.

As soon as the actress shared that she was diagnosed with Stage 3 cancer, many people from the Bollywood film fraternity and her fans wished the actress well and posted prayers and well-wishes for her.
