21 Bridges is the latest venture of Black Panther actor Chadwick Boseman. The film 21 Bridges that is set to show Boseman as a NYPD cop is releasing on November 22 in the U.S. The film is produced by Avengers: Endgame directing brother duo Anthony and Joe Russo. Plot

Chadwick Boseman stars in the new Russo brothers produced film 21 Bridges. The film got its name from its storyline. In 21 Bridges Chadwick Boseman plays the role of an NYPD detective named Andre Davis. Andre Davis in his film is going out of his way to search two cop killers. Since the cop killers seem to be on a killing spree Boseman’s character orders a total island shutdown by closing down all the 21 Bridges in New York city. Andre Davis and his team then go on a city wide hunt to find those cop killers. But Chadwick Boseman’s character finds himself in a grey area as a massive conspiracy unfolds. The search intensifies and the lines get blurred in the whole chase.

Chadwick Boseman talks about playing Andre Davis

Chadwick Boseman brought his A-game when it came to preparing for his role in the film 21 Bridges. In an interview with a leading media publication, Chadwick spoke about how he prepped for the role. He said that he found a specialist in LA who would take him to the firing range and let him fire blanks. They were firing about 500 rounds a day hitting real targets and figuring out how one would pull a weapon and how to pull it out of a coat and other ways to use a weapon and seem realistic. Chadwick Boseman said that he wanted to get the physicality right to get into the mindset of his character. Chadwick also revealed in the interview that he would have a chat with the specialist and ask him how being an officer affects your personal life. He also went one drive along with some NYPD detectives and observed them.
