Started by a fan on a chat platform, the theory suggests that the trailer will drop on December 13, 2019. How this fan reaches the conclusion about this date has something to do with a particular scene in 'Infinity War'. It is the famous scene involving Doctor Strange when he reveals that there are 14000605 outcomes, out of which there is only one where Thanos is defeated. The theory postulates that the number has something to do with the official countdown for the movies release date, which currently stands at 159 days. According to the fan, when the clock reaches the exact number that Doctor Strange mentioned, that is 140 days, 00 hours, 06 minutes, and 05 seconds, is exactly when the trailer will drop.

This will happen on December 13, which is also the date when 'Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse' will come out.

In the meantime, the only thing Kevin Feige, the Marvel executive has assured is that the trailer for 'Avengers 4' will be out by the end of the year.
