Cartoon Network to premiere all Harry Potter films throughout November & January

Fans and followers can now relive the nostalgia of their forever-favourite Harry Potter fantasy series in order to celebrate 20 glorious years of the epic drama. Cartoon Network will be premiering all the Harry Potter films, every weekend during the month of November and in January, reported the news agency, ANI. Cartoon Network is all set to bring fans the spellbinding adventures of the Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint series.

Cartoon Network to air Harry Potter films on weekends

This is the first time ever that the Harry Potter film series will be aired on the children's entertainment channel, Cartoon Network. The first four films in the franchise will be premiering every weekend of November, while the remaining four films will premiere in the month of January 2022 every Sunday at 8 pm. 

According to the report, Abhishek Dutta, South Asia Network Head for Cartoon Network and companion channel POGO said, "We are thrilled to extend the festive celebrations by bringing one of the world's most beloved and magical tales to Cartoon Network in India. Harry Potter and his journey are one of enchantment and wonder and the movie series will be a treat for all our young fans and their families."

Harry Potter is a franchise of seven fantasy novels penned by British author JK Rowling. The novels follow the lives of a young wizard, Harry Potter, played by Daniel Radcliffe, and his friends - Hermione Granger (played by Emma Watson), and Ron Weasley (played by Rupert Grint), all of whom are students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

The plot depicts Harry Potter's struggle against Lord Voldemort (played by Ralph Fiennes), who is a dark wizard intending to become immortal and overthrow the wizard governing body known as the Ministry of Magic, and subjugate all wizards and Muggles (non-magical people).
