F.R.I.E.N.D.S reunion in the making by Warner Bros. backed HBO Max?

One of the most loved sitcoms from the 90’s FRIENDS is set to have a reunion at HBO Max. The show is currently celebrating its 25th anniversary has been getting an abundant response on its current streaming platform Netflix. Read on to know more about this reunion episode of FRIENDS.

FRIENDS the NBC produced tv show was one of the most prominent and successful shows of the ’90s. The iconic show is currently celebrating its 25th anniversary. According to reports from a leading media portal in the US, the FRIENDS reunion episode is in the making. The report suggests that Warner Bros. backed HBO Max is working on the reunion. Although the portal has neither received any official statement from the soon to be released streaming platform nor from Warner Bros.

FRIENDS is also set to leave the streaming giant Netflix this year-end. According to the media portal’s report, the platform acquired FRIENDS for streaming purposes in 2019 at a price of $80 million. But Warner Bros. backed streaming platform outbid Netflix at a price of $85 million and acquired the show. The show will start streaming on the yet to be launched platform. So a FRIENDS reunion will be profitable for the platform as it will have the show as well as the reunion episode.

Jennifer Anniston who recently won an award for her work in the entertainment industry appreciated the lead star cast of her FRIENDS television show and the show itself in her speech. But when asked about a reboot or reunion episode of the show by Ellen on her day time talk show Jennifer refused the possibility. She further told Ellen that she and other cast members would love a reunion but right now the cast is not working on any such projects and hence are busy with their own line of work.

Fans of the iconic tv show FRIENDS have been speculating about a reunion for a while. They have been picking up on hints from Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox’s Instagram. Jennifer Aniston who recently joined Instagram and is working on her own Apple tv show posted her first picture with the entire cast of FRIENDS and the picture nearly broke the internet. In the picture, Jennifer Aniston is posing alongside Matt Le Blanc, Courtney Cox, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer, and Lisa Kudrow. This led the fans to speculate that the cast is meeting up for a reunion episode of their TV show.
