Gabriella Demetriades was born in South Africa and started her modelling career at the age of 16. She completed her graduation from a University in South Africa at Sunnyside, Gauteng, SouthAfrica. Gabriella Demetriades’s mother was an artist and her grandmother owned a fabric store. The model too followed her parent's footsteps and studied fashion designing.

Gabriella Demetriades featured in many advertising campaigns like Micromax Mobiles. In the year 2012, she started her own fashion label Deme. In 2016, she finally launched her own clothing label,’DEME’. Many Bollywood celebrities and bigwigs from the industry attended the launch of her store in Bandra. This was the kickstart to her career. Her designs are a mix of edgy and soft, flowy silhouettes which go with every style of a woman.

Apart from business, Gabriella Demetriades was even seen in the promo song of a Malayalam movie, Red Wine. She was also seen in a music video opposite Aditya Narayan, in his single Tu Hi Pyar Hai. Gabriella was also seen in the movie Sonali Cable. She also starred in the Telegu-Tamil film Oopiri.

Gabriella Demetriades came into limelight after she won the Miss Indian Premier League Bollywood in 2009. She has also modelled for FHM multiple times and was the magazine’s cover girl for the January 2012 issue. In April 2019, Arjun confirmed that Gabriella and he were expecting their first child together. Gabriella gave birth to Arik on July 18. Arjun was previously married to former Miss India Mehr Jesia. They have two daughters, Maahika and Myra. The couple separated last year after 20 years of marriage.
