Gwen Stefani wins fashion icon of the year at People's Choice Awards

The American singer and songwriter Gwen Stefani received the Fashion Icon Award during the E! People's Choice Awards on November 10 which is "hard to digest" for Stefani. The award was presented by American Fashion designer, Jeremy Scott and called the 50-year-old singer as a 'global superstar' and also an artist in the "truest sense of the world". However, Stefani was in utter disbelief to be honoured with the award and confessed that she has always 'loved fashion' and that it is one of the 'very instinctual things' and therefore receiving the award was difficult to imagine. 

Stefani also added, “I think one of the biggest blessings of the whole thing is just all the amazing, talented designers and people that have like taught me all the things that I know”.

Jennifer Aniston credits 'Friends'

The 'Friends' star, Jennifer Aniston received the icon award at the People's Choice Awards 2019 and she credited her victory to the globally-loved show for a successful career. The award was presented to her by Murder Mystery co-star Adam Sandler also thanked the entire cast of the NBC sitcom, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer along with the audience members who continue to show their love and support to the 50-year-old actor. Aniston and Sandler also received the comedy movie of 2019 for Murder Mystery.

Kevin Hart's first official public appearance

American actor-comedian Kevin Hart made his first public appearance after being injured in September at the People’s Choice Awards. The 40-year-old actor and comedian attended the ceremony to physically receive the award for a comedy movie star of 2019 at the Los Angeles awards show. Hart described his experience of a car accident in his acceptance speech after a round of applause. He thanked God to be there at the event and said that it makes him appreciate his life even more. Hart also thanked his wife and kids for their support during his bad times. On September 1, Hart's car toppled off the Mulholland Highway and landed in a trench in Malibu.
