American singer Katy Perry has been reportedly sued by a photo agency for USD 150,000 for copyright infringement. In the picture, Perry is seen completely transformed into Hillary Clinton and one of her friends is seen dressed like Bill Clinton for a Halloween party. The paparazzi image posted back in 2016 with a caption, “Bill and Hill forever” is owned by Backgrid who claims that the pop star has failed to pay the agency to license the photo.

Backgrid, the photo agency told an international media outlet that they have contacted Perry multiple times from 2017 to as recently as early this month regarding the use of the picture but the representatives of the singer have failed to pay the agency to license the photo. Perry was sued last month as well with $2.78 million as a federal jury found out that she has copied one of her hit songs.

A week back an American model Emily O'Hara Ratajkowski and her company Emrata Holding Inc. was also sued for similar circumstances. The model posted a picture of herself carrying a bouquet of flowers, wearing an oversize blazer and tennis shoes as an Instagram story which was clicked by Robert O'Neil. Although the story disappears in 24 hours, the photographer has filed the lawsuit against Ratajkowski in the Southern District of New York, citing copyright infringement. The professional paparazzi photographer sued the model for up to $150,000.

Another model Gigi Hadid had also received a legal notice for posting a paparazzi photo of herself. Hadid had publically posted about being sued for her now-deleted post and was informed by the management. Hadid had accused the paparazzi photographers of intruding the privacy of the celebrities "legally” and then asking for more after Hadid posted it. She further explains how she had seen the photo on Twitter without any credits to a photographer, and therefore had posted it on her page.
