Harry Styles took a dig at ex-member of One Direction and singer Zayn Malik while hosting the show Saturday Night Live. While giving a monologue in the show, Harry pretended as if he did not remember Zayn's name. Liam Payne took to Twitter to give his response to this.
A fan posted a video of Harry's monologue on her Twitter handle. She talked about how it was nice to hear Harry say this after Liam Payne talked about how he hasn't spoken to Harry in ages. To this, Liam replied that the monologue actually made him laugh out loud. Here is the Twitter thread:
Okay but if the audience were full of directioners I would’ve atleast heard one loud scream when @Harry_Styles said ‘’wouldn’t it be crazy if they were here tho’’😂❤️ and finally after @LiamPayne saying he hasn’t talked to Harry in ages Harry finally said he loved him😭❤️ pic.twitter.com/xVjro1BYAE— #WaterMelonSugar❤️🍉 (@AnisaS123) November 17, 2019

A confused fan further asked about what exactly was funny to Liam. Liam cleared it out by saying that it was funny and nice to see Harry happy and comfortable in doing something he hasn't done before. Here is Liam's tweet:
Was @LiamPayne being sarcastic? Did he find it funny or was he laughing at the fact he hasn’t met Harry in ages and said that?— Nimmy ☀️ (@lalalouis99) November 17, 2019
No it was funny nice to see him happy and comfortable doing something he hasn’t done before 🙌🏼— Liam (@LiamPayne) November 17, 2019
Harry Styles did an opening monologue during the show. He sat in front of a piano and talked about how he misses his fellow members of One Direction. He talked about how it would have been nice if they were present at the show. He then said that he loved all those guys, Niall, Liam, Louis, and then took a pause, as if pretending to struggle and remember Zayn's name. He then said "Uh... Ringo! Yeah, that's it."
Harry Styles has now been reigning over worldwide news ever since the release of his new tracks Lights Out and Watermelon Sugar. The singer has a new tour lined up titled Love On Tour, which will start in April 2020. Liam Payne has an intimate album release show on December 20, 2019.
