HILARIOUS | Forget 'Civil War', Captain America and Iron Man's recent banter prove they are BFFs

Avengers actors Robert Downey, Jr. aka Iron Man and Chris Evans aka Captain America got engaged in a hilarious Twitter banter.

Treating fans with another sweet surprise, Marvel Studios unveiled a brand new trailer of 'Avengers: Endgame' on Thursday, March 14. As expected, the trailer is a visual spectacle and looking at it, one can say that the climactic conclusion for the Avengers franchise is going to be mind-blowing. 

Ahead of the same, Avengers actors Robert Downey, Jr. aka Iron Man and Chris Evans aka Captain America got engaged in a hilarious Twitter banter. Earlier on the day, Robert Downey, Jr. shared a picture or their on-screen avatars where Captain America can be seen protecting Iron Man with his shield as both of them stand beneath protecting them from some opponent force. 

Downey who is known for his wit and humour captioned the post saying, "BFFs let you share their umbrellas, right @ChrisEvans?"

Iron Man and Captain America who doesn't appear to be in very good terms with each other ever since they met in 'The Avengers', make sure they stand by each other in the time of need. While their relationship worsened in 'Captain America: Civil War', they yet again came together to fight for the same cause in 'Avengers: Infinity War'.

However, no matter how rude they are on each other's face, their underlined friendship do come to notice. Following Downey, Jr.'s post, Chris Evans replied to it saying, "Technically it’s YOUR umbrella. But I’m happy to hold it."

For the unaware, Tony Stark's father Howard Stark is the one who created Captain America's Vibranium-Steel alloy shield. In fact, he was the one who converted soldier Steve Rogers to Captain America, during the First World War.

Meanwhile, the Marvel superheroes are all set to team up yet again for the final battle in 'Avengers: Endgame'. Helmed by the Russo Brothers, the film is all set to hit the theaters on April 26, 2019.
