Instagram-breaker Jennifer Aniston confesses to past 'stalker account'

Jennifer Aniston who shocked her fans by joining the social media platform 'Instagram' made a rather interesting revelation on a recent chat show about her online presence.

'It was a stalker account'

Jennifer Aniston was on the 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' show when she was asked if she had a 'fake Instagram' account, to which she replied, "It was a stalker account, yes." She said she wanted to 'understand the world' and dip my toe in the social media pool," However, Aniston asserted she is yet to get comfortable with the social media world. During her interview, she revealed that she finds it frustrating that you get an alert like its a text and later realise it's just a heart or exclamation point.

"You really couldn't just write a heart?" she said. The 'Murder Mystery' star also revealed that she finds it difficult to find who has commented or liked her posts. "I had to search through, and then you have to figure out who left that heart or thumbs up or down. It takes away more time than just actually writing a comment to what the person last just said," she added.

Jennifer Aniston breaks the world record

When Jennifer Aniston joined Instagram, she broke a Guinness World Record for reaching 1 million followers on the platform, faster than anyone. It took the star just 16 minutes to hit a million and surpass the official handle of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have held that title since April when their joint account reached that milestone in five hours and 45 minutes.

Jennifer Aniston broke the internet when she shared her first Instagram post with none other than her 'FRIENDS' costars, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer and Matthew Perry. The star captioned her picture with the caption

 "And now we're Instagram FRIENDS too. HI INSTAGRAM"

The star currently stands at 13.5 Million followers. Jennifer Aniston is now awaiting the release of her Apple TV+ series 'The Morning Show' in which she will be seen with the office fame Steve Carell and Big Little Lies star Reese Witherspoon. The series will release on November 1.
