'Avengers: Endgame' is the one film that is on everyone's mind as 2019 is progressing swiftly. The film which is directed by Russo brothers will hit the screens on April 26, 2019. While fans can't wait for the superhero extravaganza to hit the screens, the Russo Brothers opened up about the duration of the film and said that the runtime of 'Avengers: Endgame' will exceed that of the previous venture 'Avengers: Infinity War'.

Joe Russo, one half of director duo The Russo Brothers reportedly said that the duration of the film will be three hours and Disney has no problems with it.

According to PTI, In an interview with Collider, he said, "I think the studio is down with what the best story is. Right now, we think the movie is playing well and we've had great responses from our test audiences and we're feeling very good about where it is."

Joe, however, said the much-awaited film is not yet complete and they are still working on it. There remains a possibility that the film might be trimmed.

"We're still doing work to it. We're not done with it. Again, this is a culmination film of 22 movies, it's a lot of storytelling to work into it. Emotion is an intrinsic part of that to us. When you have to tell a really complicated story and you want strong emotional moments with the characters, it just requires a certain amount of real estate. This one, in particular, feels like three hours worth of real estate," he said.

However, Anthony Russo said that they have screened the film four times in front of a test audience and the response has been great.

"We have screened the movie four times for audiences now. For the first three screenings, not a single person got up to go to the bathroom," PTI quoted him as saying.

'Avengers: Endgame' is the fourth and the last venture of the superhero franchise where all the actor acing up the roles of superheroes for the Marvel Cinematic Universe including Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Josh Brolin, Chris Pratt, Jeremy Renner, Evangeline Lilly, Jon Favreau, Paul Rudd will take back their role.
