Jumanji: Everything to know before watching this film

The third instalment of the Jumanji franchise is set to release on December 13, 2019. The trailer of the film was released on July 1, 2019. The upcoming venture is a sequel to the 1995 hit film Jumanji starring Robin Williams and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle starring Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillan, Jack Black Nick Jonas and Kevin Hart in lead roles. All you should know before watching Jumanji: The Next Level

In the first Jumanji movie, we saw Robin Williams play the lead role of Alan Parrish, the son of a rich shoemaker. As he is rich, he is bullied. To escape the fear of bullies, he plays a board game named Jumanji. The game sucks him in after a few rounds, and then the movie jumps 26 years into the future. In the future, Robbin Williams comes back out of the game as some new children play the game and release him from it. He comes out of the game and so does the threat he was facing in it. He fights all the threats and manages to finish the game, putting an end to the terror the game had started. Later, he throws the game away.

In the second installment of the series, Dwayne Johnson is the lead hero along with Karen Gillan, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, and Nick Jonas in lead roles. In the movie, a kid finds the board game, but he does not play the game. For that, the game turns itself into a more advanced version and becomes a video game. The kid then plays the game and gets sucked into it and is lost. A few years later, some other kids in the school find the game during detention and start playing it. All the four kids are sucked into the game and have the task of returning the eye of jaguar back to its place. Unlike the last movie, the characters have to finish the game with limited lives to come out alive. They manage to complete the task and save everyone.

Going by the trailer, we can say that the movie is set in a different terrain. There is a possibility of having more characters in the movie than seen in the trailer, as Danny DeVito and Danny Glover have joined the cast of the film. We also learn that they go back to the game, as Spencer, the lead in the movie, repairs the game that they destroyed in the second movie so that no one else can play it. They all return to rescue him and go through the journey of saving him from arid deserts to snowy mountains to escape the world's most dangerous game.
