K Stewart says her character in Seberg 'always has something to say'

American actor and director Kristen Stewart is all set to play the titular role of Jean Seberg in her upcoming movie Seberg. She recently discussed the project ahead of its premiere at the London Film Festival. The actor, famous for her performances in Twilight and Snow White and The Huntsman, was present with director Benedict Andrews at Deadline's 'The Contenders London' event.

Kristen Stewart talks about Jean Seberg

According to reports, the 29-year-old actor said that Jean was so interested in revealing herself and she was so available. Stewart was quoted saying, "if we watch any of her work, she stands out energetically and always has something to say, although it may be ambiguous at times." She declared that there was always something that she needs to get out, and for the efforts to finally be showcased on a platform. Kristen added that she has no real ability to perform Jean's role, while confirming that Andrews has a very creative mind.

Reportedly, Andrews said the movie is a reflection of the mass surveillance culture we live in and how we take freedom for granted. He added that we are now "thoroughly engaged in surveillance that we carry the cameras and the microphones in our pockets". He then questions what happens when the surveillance machinery of the state is turned against someone for their politics and for wanting to make a change in society.

The movie stars Kristen Stewart in the lead role along with  Jack O'Connell as the intelligence agent who creates a moral conscience while putting her under surveillance. The movie is expected to release on December 13 by the Amazon Studios.
Kristen Stewart is a recipient of several accolades including a César Award, which she was the first American actress to win. Her films have grossed over $4.3 billion worldwide, and she was the highest-paid actress in the world in 2010 and 2012.
