Madonna injured, postpones 'Madame X' concert in Brooklyn

Madonna recently postponed another show from her exclusive 'Madame X' tour in Brooklyn due to her knee injury and has been advised rest for the next three days

Madonna recently postponed another show from her exclusive 'Madame X' tour in Brooklyn due to her knee injury. Madonna’s official website stated, "Unfortunately, Madonna's 'Madame X' concert this evening at BAM Howard Gilman Opera House is postponed". The official site also mentioned the fact that the singer was currently dealing with a knee injury and has been advised rest for the next three days to assist in her recovery. The site also told fans to keep their tickets as information on rescheduling was pending.

Not a quitter: Madonna 

However, there has been no changes for the 'Madame X' tour date scheduled for October 10 and 12. No information has been released regarding the rescheduling the October 7 show. The pop star took to Instagram and wrote that she is not a quitter, assuring her fans that she will be seeing them in a few days, and asked them not to feel disheartened.

"It's hard for Madame X to admit that she is also a human being made of flesh and blood and she must rest for the next 3 days to ensure full recovery for her knee," 61-year-old pop icon wrote on Instagram. "I am not a quitter. This hurts me more than you can imagine. It's time to take those heels and fishnets off for a few days! Thank you for your understanding."

Rescheduling dates

Madonna began her 'Madame X' tour in October after a delay of nearly a month. She rescheduled additional 'Madame X' dates, the previous week. According to recent reports, the opening night of the Chicago show was pushed back, without giving any reason. The show was originally scheduled for October 15, and the first date for the San Francisco show on October 31 was moved to November 5, with production issues cited as the reason.
