Once Upon A Time In Hollywood is Quentin Tarantino's latest film that was released on May 21, 2019. The film is supposed to be Tarantino’s second last film, and he said this particular movie is very close to his heart. The movie is basically Tarantino’s mindset of early Hollywood times. The director himself said that the film was a love letter to 60s LA and the environment of the industry at the time. The movie is roughly based on a real-life story, with some changes here and there.  There are some facts related to the film that are not known by a lot of people. Margot Robbie plays the role of Sharon Tate in the film and was helped by Tate's real-life sister, Debra, after she met Quentin. She really supported the crew and, while visiting the sets of the film, she brought her late sibling's jewellery for Margot Robbie to wear during the shoot.

Before the film's release, Wikipedia had a detailed plot with an entirely false ending that was even more shocking than the one in the film. It indicated that The Manson Family breaks into Sharon Tate's house, but Bruce Lee, Cliff, and Rick show up in the nick of time to help them. This triggered an internal quarrel among the editorial team at Wikipedia to do justice to an unreleased film.

The director wanted to meet Roman Polanski but couldn't because he was unable to fly out to the States due to legal issues. One of Polanski’s close friends met with the director and read the script on behalf of the exiled filmmaker. Tarantino added that Polanski did not oppose the idea and was simply curious to know what the project would be at the end. After reading the script, Tarantino was assured by his friend and added that the Polish director had nothing to worry about.
