Rihanna teases fans about new album, says its reggae-infused

Rihanna recently teased a new album in her cover story for Vogue's November issue, claiming that the music would a fusion of traditional reggae influences

According to reports, Rihanna recently revealed in her cover story for Vogue's November issue, that her music in her new album will be a soothing fusion of traditional reggae influences with fresh sonic inspiration. Fans were elated at the news.

A musical tease or treat ?

The exotic musical tease left the fans excited and elated. Soon after she made the big announcement about the awaited album, she later told the publication how she considers her new music as a reggae-inspired or reggae-infused album. The singer also added that her album is not going to be entirely about reggae, instead the listeners will be feeling a few of its elements in all of the tracks of the album.

Reggae in her Roots

Rihanna also added she has been inspired by the Reggae music for a long time and wanted to add it to her music, partly due to her Caribbean roots.The 31-year-old singer and beauty mogul who owns her brand called 'Fenty' said that she could feel the rhythms of reggae in her blood. Furthermore, she added that it doesnt matter how far she lives from her culture or what her surrounding environment is, the tradition will never leave her.

She also added that though she has explored other genres of music in her music career, it was time for her to go back to something that she hasn't really honed in on completely for a body of work. According to reports, the singer earlier stopped from revealing the release date of her project, but she did confirm the fact that she's already in the "discovery stage" for her 10th album, as well as a non-musical collaboration with Lil Nas X.

"We always went into the music this time around saying that we were going to do two different pieces of art," said Rihanna. "One was gonna be inspired by the music that I grew up listening to. And one was gonna be the evolution of where I'm going next with music
