Sarah Hyland welcomes Jennifer Aniston on Instagram with a post

Hollywood actor, Sarah Hyland, welcomed former 'Friends' actor, Jennifer Aniston, to the world of social media as the 50-year-old actor recently joined Instagram. The object of My Affection actor honoured Aniston's Instagram debut by sharing a picture from the same movie in which she played Jennifer's daughter.

Hyland mentioned in her caption that she dearly loved her 'fake mama' and neither she, Paul Rudd or Aniston had aged a single day. 

Sarah's post came in a day after Jennifer made her account on the popular social media platform which ultimately crashed due to a large number of people trying to follow the Marley&Me actor. Right when Aniston's account was noticed by her fans and friends, it temporarily crashed with a message- "This page isn't available".

While speaking to a local media outlet, a representative of Instagram, stated that they knew about how a few people were facing problems in following Jennifer's page. The representative further added that the response they were seeing was huge and that Instagram was working on solving the problem and getting the page back up so that people could follow the account.

A world record

The Derailed actor, gained more than 100,000 followers in less than an hour after she created her account and also followed a few of her fellow actors such as Julia Roberts and Adam Sandler. She also broke a Guinness book record that was previously held by the duke and dutchess of Sussex wherein she reached a million followers in exactly 5 hours and 16 minutes.

Current work status

Jennifer Aniston was last seen in a comedy Netflix original, Murder Mystery, opposite Adam Sandler. The movie received a lukewarm response with an IMDB rating of 6/10. 

She will next be seen in an American comedy-drama web series titled The Morning Show with Reese Witherspoon, Steve Carell, Billy Crudup, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Nestor Carbonell and Mark Duplass. The first is set to premiere on November 1 and will be distributed by tech giant, Apple.
