Scooby-Doo is an American animated franchise, which comprises of multiple television series, movies, a live-action movie, video games, and books. The series featured Scooby-Doo, an almost anthropomorphic dog, Fred Jones, Daphne Blake, Velma Dinkley, and Norville ‘Shaggy’ Rogers. The original show Scooby-Doo, Where are you! aired back in 1969, and has lead to the creation of a vast franchise. A new animated movie has been announced and actor Zac Efron will be the voice behind the character of Fred Jones. Read more to know about the movie.

Zac Efron will be the voice behind Fred Jones 

Scooby-Doo movie will get a new remake and it is being called Scoob! The movie will feature Mark Wahlberg, Zac Efron, Amanda Seyfried, Gina Rodriguez, and Will Forte in the lead role giving voice to the lead characters of the show. The animated adventure comedy is set to release on May 15, 2020. Tony Cervone will be the director of the movie, and it has been written by Kelly Fremon Craig and  Matt Lieberman. The Mystrey Inc gang will be seen fighting the evil doors who plan to unleash a ghost dog Cereberus to the living world, and only the gang can stop this. Fans will get to see the childhood of the Mystrey Inc gang in the upcoming animated movie Scoob!

The trailer of the movie has been released by the official YouTube channel of Warner Bros. Pictures. It gives the fans a rough idea of how the movie will be. It has been said that the movie will be an origin story to the epic mystery solvers in the 'history of mystery'. The trailer is filled with references to multiple animated shows that had aired around the same time as Scooby-Doo did. The animation of the movie is quite crisp and clear, and fans of the franchise cannot wait to see this new Scooby movie in the theatres.
