It might be quite sad that Sophie Turner, a.k.a Sansa Stark wrapped up the shooting for the final season of 'Game of Thrones', but there is one thing that the actress is not sad to leave behind, and that is her 'greasy and dirty' hair.

Opening up about the same to a leading news publication, the actress revealed that for the first few seasons, she was allowed to wash her hair as she was a young aristocratic girl. But towards the end of Season 5, the makers and producers of the show had asked her to stop washing it, and she felt that it was really disgusting.

She further added that it was really itchy, and there were quite a few snow machines on the sets, due to which little snow paper articles would get stuck in her greasy hair.

Speaking about it further, she discloses that she soon switched over to wearing wigs in order to save her hair from damage. On being asked about how the experience of wearing a wig was for her, she revealed that it would just give her momentary transformation and would not let her commit to her role, so she tried using her own hair as much as she could.

Recently, the makers of 'Game of Thrones' revealed the release date of the new season.

Taking to Twitter, the official Game of Thrones handle posted a small video where they announced that the show will air on April 14, 2019. They simply captioned the post as, "April 14. #ForTheThrone." As for the video, it is goosebumps-inducing indeed as it will leave you emotional and hyped at the same time.

Coming to how the last season of 'Game of Thrones' ended, it was a real cliffhanger moment as the Night King finally blasts past The Wall, the only thing that kept the walkers away from humans for centuries. With the help of the now undead dragon Viserion, the White Walkers easily break the wall of ice and start marching into Westeros, spelling doom for every living man, woman and child in the seven kingdoms.
