Gwen Stefani plants a kiss on Jennifer Aniston's cheek at People's Choice Awards

After picking up their awards at E! People's Choice Awards on November 10,  Jennifer Aniston posed for a photo with Gwen Stefani backstage, as the singer planted a kiss on the cheek of the Friends star. The duo met over 15 years ago through their now ex-husbands Brad Pitt and Gavin Rossdale, who were close friends. While Jennifer won the People's Icon award, Gwen bagged the Fashion Icon award. n her acceptance speech, Jennifer said that she could not have won the award and earned the title of an icon without the support of the fans and the still popular sitcom Friends.

Jennifer admired 'Friends' and thanked the show's fans 

The 50-year-old actress said that if she deserves the icon, it is only because she was able to work for a show like Friends and portray an iconic character and don an iconic haircut, according to the reports. She said that the show was truly a gift of a lifetime and added that she would not be standing here without it and those amazing five other actors. She also thanked the audience who stood with them for all these years. The actor thanked the show's fans for believing in the character's 'impossibly large apartments' and said that Friends has ultimately paved the way for everything she has accomplished in her career.

Jennifer & Gwen's friendship over the decade

Jennifer and Gwen have been photographed together numerous times over 10 years. At the 2009 Oscars, the blondes were spotted side by side as they posed with actress Christina Applegate.
