In an interview with a Hollywood magazine, superstar Sylvester Stallone compared the two iconic roles of his career, Rocky and Rambo emphasizing the contrast in the nature of the characters. Sylvester thought of Rocky as a very optimistic character while he compared Rambo to the monster in the book turned movie, Frankenstein. The characters Rambo and Rocky Balbo mark the milestone in the Hollywood star's career. The comparison is so vivid and apt that it is hitting the headlines everywhere.
Stallone said in the interview that Rocky was larger than life and a celebration in itself. He used the proverb, "The glass is hald full" to describe the character. The star further goes on to say that Rambo was positive and did not let his insecurities become the burden on other people. While Rocky, on the other hand, had no grammar. He was simply a killing machine for a military machine, Stallone said.
Going in details of his blockbuster movie character, Stallone said that Rambo was a fragile character as he was still 17 and put into horrible situations from which he never recovered. Frankenstein was a discarded creature. He didn't ask for the fate he got. No one wanted him and that is why he wanders off. That's the basic difference between Rambo and Frankenstein, he said.
Sylvester is all set to return as Rambo is the last installment of Rambo series, "Rambo: Last Blood". In this movie, Stallone as Rambo will travel through Mexico to save his friend's daughter while she is kidnapped by Mexican cartel. The movie also stars Adriana Barraza, Oscar Jaenada, Paz Vega, Joaquin Cosío and many others. The film will be released in India by PVR Pictures and MVP Entertainment on September 20 in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
