Vanessa Hudgens to play 3 roles in 'The Princess Switch' sequel

Netflix on October 30 announced the sequel of Vanessa Hudgen starrer The Princess Switch. The sequel of the most famous Christmas movie has been titled as Switched Again. The movie was released in 2018 at the time of Christman starring Vanessa Hudgens who played the character of Stacy De Novo. It followed the genre of Romantic Comedy.

The Princess Switch: Switched Again

The Princess Switch starring Vanessa Hudgens was a story of two doppelgangers, one is a duchess and other an ordinary woman. The characters sort to switch places and live each other’s lives. Netflix stated that both the characters will reprise in the sequel with another lookalike. The first movie of Princess Switch revolved around a fictitious plot where the duchess switches her role with Stacy De Novo, who is an American baker. Stacy De Novo, in the movie, is invited to participate in a bakery competition. Duchess Margaret persuades Stacy to switch lives so that the Duchess can live an ordinary life. The plot of the movie, however, was hypothetical and lacked logic. Nevertheless, it gave guilty-pleasure to several Christman movie fans.

Vanessa Hudgens, to play three roles 

International media reported that Vanessa Hudgens will play three roles this time. Netflix revealed on Twitter that the sequel of the movie has a troublesome plot for Duchess Margaret and Stacy's friend, Kevin. It said that in the movie Duchess Margaret will inherit the throne and engage in a rough patch with Kevin and Stacy will have to save the day before things go wrong. Hudgens will also produce the movie. The Princess Switch was produced by Hudgens and Mike Rohl was the director. It is reported that The Princess Switch: Switched Again will be globally released on Netflix in 2020.

The Knight Before Christmas

Apart from The Princess Switch: Switched Again Vanessa Hudgens will be seen in another Christmas movie, The Knight Before Christmas, where a generous science teacher is disillusioned by love. The Knight Before Christmas will be released on November 21 on Netflix.
