You would not believe the price of Marvel's "Avengers: Endgame" tickets being re-sold by fans on eBay

Marvel Studios recently unveiled the final trailer of the much-awaited film "Avengers: Endgame" raising the enthusiasm level among its fans to a higher notch. While the fans can't wait, some have found a way to monetise the hysteria around the Marvel Studios tent-pole by pricing the tickets for as high as  USD 1,250 a ticket.

Along with its trailer launch, tickets for the premieres of the movie were also made available online across the United States. This service was made available to its fans on ticket services such a Fandango, AMC Theatres, and Atom Tickets.

Regardless of the site crashing on the server due to high demands for the tickets, fans of the Marvel Universe reserved it all within no time.

The opening weekend of the much-awaited movie in the US is all but booked as the ticket sales smashed the first-day records, surpassing those held by "Star Wars: The Force Awakens".

However, the madness for the film does not stop here and the frenzy has now peaked with plenty of its fans who are now selling the movie tickets on eBay for as high as USD 2000 for those who could not get hold of them while they were available online. For one of the first screenings of the film on a Thursday evening in Skokie, Illinois, a user is reportedly selling four tickets priced at USD 4,000, which averages to USD 1,250 a ticket.

Another user is seen to be offering two tickets of the film for Saturday, April 28 screening in New York City for a whopping USD 4,999. However, there are also many tickets listed in the range of USD 100 to USD 300 dollars.

Fandango managing editor, Erik Davis, said on Twitter that demand for the film was much higher than any other film and called the turnout a "groundbreaking and historic accomplishment"

"Avengers: Endgame" marks the final film within the Marvel Cinematic Universe's current generation.

The movie features an ensemble cast of Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Bradley Cooper, Tessa Thompson and Josh Brolin.

The film will release in India on April 26 in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
