Backstreet Boys' Nick Carter & wife Lauren Kitt welcome second child

The lead singer of the pop-sensation band the 'Backstreet Boys', Nick Carter and wife Lauren Kitt Carter have welcomed their second child. The singer took to Twitter on Friday and revealed that they are blessed with a beautiful baby girl on October 2, 2019. The overjoyed father penned an emotional note on Twitter welcoming his baby girl.

In the post, Nick Carter wrote, "My wife and I received the most beautiful gift a Father and Mother could ever ask for. We are overjoyed to announce that we welcomed into our family and this world a healthy beautiful baby girl."

Nick Carter who was heartbroken by his wife's miscarriage last year, said that the baby girl they lost last year has returned back to them.

"She came back to us, God is real," the singer wrote in the post.

The 39-year-old singer and Lauren are already parents to three-year-old son Odin Reign. As per media reports, both Mom and daughter are doing great.

Nick Carter announced in April that Lauren, 36, is pregnant, posting a family photograph on Instagram of Odin, kissing his mom's baby bump.

Nick Carter broke down following wife Lauren Kitt's miscarriage

In September last year, Nick Carter revealed that his wife Lauren Kitt, who was pregnant with their second child, has suffered a miscarriage three months before the delivery. The vocalist had taken to social media to share his grief with his fans and followers. The 38-year-old mourned the loss of the child who he revealed was a girl. In a series of tweets, the vocalist remembered his going-to-be-born daughter and denoted her as their son Odin's sister. "God give us peace during this time. I really was looking forward to meeting her after 3 months. I’m heartbroken." he wrote in his Twitter post. "It was a little sister for Odin.," he added further.

Nick Carter married American actress Kitt in April 2014 and the couple has a three-year-old son Odin Reign Carter. The musician has released three solo albums - 'Now or Never', 'I'm Taking Off' and 'All American' since 2015. However, he has never compromised on the 'Backstreet Boys' schedule owing to the same. Carter who started his journey in the entertainment industry at a very early age with commercials gained fame with the formation of popular band 'Backstreet Boys' on April 20, 1993. The band comprising of Carter, AJ McLean, Brian Littrell, Howie Dorough, and Kevin Richardson became a sensation in the  mid-1990s and early 2000s. He has also released an album in collaboration with Jordan Knight titled it 'Nick & Knight'. 

The musician turned actor has also marked several occasional television appearances and starred in his own reality shows, 'House of Carters' and 'I (Heart) Nick Carter', which also stared his wife.
