Jasleen Royal talks about her ‘big achievement’ 

While talking to Pinkvilla, Jasleen Royal shared that it was a "special feeling" that her songs were being used by celebrities on their wedding days. She mentioned, “It feels like a big achievement as a songwriter that your song has more meaning to the people you worked with apart from the films. Taking Sidharth Mahotra-Kiara Advani and Anushka Sharma-Virat Kohli’s wedding as examples, the Shershaah music composer-singer said, “It's obviously a very special feeling. You feel happy being a part of someone's special day.” She also expressed her gratitude to the couples, who chose her songs for their celebration.

The song narrates the tale of a prince who sets out to find a woman who he can live happily ever after with. The song is an adaptation of the classic folklore of Heer Ranjha. Talking about the number, Jasleen Royal told ANI, “From composing the tune, and singing the track with Arijit to producing the music video and featuring in it, especially with Dulquer Salmaan, it has been an immensely exhilarating journey.”
