Olivia Rodrigo reacts to feud rumours with Taylor Swift

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Olivia Rodrigo made it clear that she avoids engaging in conflicts and prefers a laid-back approach. She spoke about her tendency to keep a small circle of friends, primarily consisting of her close-knit group and her mother. The singer humorously mentioned that instead of dwelling on social media speculation, she prefers to explore alien-conspiracy theories.

"I don't beef with anyone. I'm very chill. I keep it to myself. There's nothing to say. There are so many Twitter conspiracy theories. I only look at alien-conspiracy theories," she said.

When questioned about the co-writing credits on her debut album, Sour, which included Taylor Swift and producer Jack Antonoff, Rodrigo remained silent. She explained that her involvement in the credits wasn't extensive, describing it as more of a team effort. Consequently, she said that she did not feel well-equipped to provide detailed insights.

On Tuesday, Taylor Swift dismissed rumours of an alleged feud with Olivia Rodrigo by cheering for her at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards. The singer's gesture comes hours after Rodrigo commented on the rumours that she’s been feuding with Swift. While the Red singer didn't comment directly on the fallout, she was seen clapping enthusiastically for the Guts singer when her performance was announced. A video from that moment has been doing the rounds. While a fan wrote, "The non-existent beef has been squashed," "Finally, everyone shut up now," another one commented.

What are Olivia Rodrigo and Taylor Swift feuding over?
