The makers have released the delightful news that the Ajith starrer has been cleared through CBFC proceedings with a clean 'U' certificate. It is being touted as a family entertainer set in a rustic TamilNadu backdrop. However, while it may be great news for fans of the actor there is also a worry in the form of a big competitor during the Pongal season. For those who are unaware, the Ajith starrer will be directly clashing with Rajinikanth's 'Petta' which also has a massive hype surrounding it. Starring the Superstar himself who's teaming up with the brilliant Vijay Sethupathi as well as Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, the film is a formidable opponent to have. It remains to be seen if Thala's mass factor is enough to draw the audiences to the cinema when it releases on January 15.
