The wait is over for Ajith Kumar fans as they can finally stop calling their favourite star’s movie by the name ‘AK 59’ they were using it since the last few months. The Tamil remake of ‘Pink’ starring Amitabh Bachchan has been named ‘Ner Konda Parvaai’ and the first look has been unveiled.
The poster is almost similar to one of the posters of the original featuring Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari and Andrea Tariang, only that the latest movie one is in black and white. Ajith looks intense just like Amitabh Bachchan did. And many compared the two. Here are the reactions:
‘Ner Konda Parvaai’ also stars Shraddha Srinath and Abhirami Venkatachalam while Andrea Tariang has been retained in her role. Vidya Balan has also been signed for a pivotal role in the movie. Check out the posters here:
The film has been directed by H Vinoth and produced by Boney Kapoor. The collaboration between Ajith and Boney is the fulfillment of a wish from late legendary actress Sridevi, who had worked with the actor in ‘English Vinglish.’ The 'Viswasam' star was also among the attendees at a prayer meet in memory of Sridevi in Chennai ahead of her first death anniversary.
‘Pink’, directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, with Shoojit Sircar as creative producer, has been among the most critically acclaimed movies in recent times and won the National Award for Best Film on Social Issues in 2016.
