The star of the super hit Kannada film 'KGF' celebrated his 33rd birthday on January 8. But the day of celebration became a day of mourning for the Rocking Star as he was struck with two tragedies recently. One which he himself expressed was the death of senior actor and politician Dr Ambarish who was family to him. The other came in the form of the death of a fan who took his love for the actor too far.
From the reports coming in, the fan named Ravi R was a 26-year-old factory worker and a hardcore follower of the 'KGF' actor. It turns out that every year, he used to wish Yash on his birthday and it had been a tradition for him. However, this year when he went outside the actor's house he wasn't allowed inside.
Distraught, Ravi eventually poured petrol all over himself and set himself on fire. The locals soon rushed to the scene and tried to stop the self-immolation by smothering him with blankets. They rushed the burn victim to a hospital nearby but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries. According to reports from the medical examiners, over seventy per cent of his body sustained severe burns. However, that is still not the most upsetting part.
Turns out, when the doctors were trying to save him, Ravi was still conscious and he even asked if Yash will see him now or not. As insane as this whole turn of events is, one cannot help but feel sad for a life lost for such a trivial reason. Meanwhile, Yash though upset, was also really angry that his fan took such a drastic step.
He took a hard stance on the matter and said that this person cannot be his true fan for he never asked anybody to lay their lives for him. He also added that he had already mentioned that he won't celebrating his birthday this year, so this extreme step in hindsight is really hurting him. We hope that the actor shakes off these shocking turn of events and bounces back soon.
