Jr NTR, Kalyamram Nandamuri and Nandamuri Balakrishna paid their respects to NT Rama Rao on the actor-politician's 96th birth anniversary. The trio was seen performing rituals in honour of the former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister at separate events on Tuesday.
JR NTR and his brother Kalyanram Nandamuri honured their grandfather at the NTR Ghat in Hyderabad. The duo was seen paying floral respects, and praying with bowed heads and folded hands at the event. They were also seen sitting mournfully at the venue.
Meanwhile, NT Rama Rao’s son Nandamuri Balakrishna performed ‘Abhishekam’ by pouring milk over his statue in Hindupur.
Balakrishna had featured in the two-part biopic on his father, ‘N.T.R: Kathanayakudu' and ‘N.T.R: Mahanayakudu' that had released earlier this year.
Meanwhile, Ram Gopal Varma, the director of the third biopic on the late leader, ‘Lakshmi's NTR’, that had run into several controversies, also shared a picture and wrote, “Me shouting JAI NTR after garlanding him.”
