The 1857 freedom movement is often termed as the first Independence War fought by the Indians against the British, but Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is all set to bring on screen a story before that. Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is based on the story of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, who had raised his voice and anger against the Britishers more than a decade before the 1857 freedom movement. The film has finally hit the box office, and rave reviews from the netizens are pouring in on social media.

Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is directed by Surender Reddy and is produced by Chiranjeevi’s son and Telugu star Ram Charan. The film is slated to hit the theatres on October 2 and will clash with Hrithik Roshan-Tiger Shroff’s War. The film also stars Ravi Kishan, Jagapathy Babu, Anushka Shetty (in a brief role), among others. The music has been given by Amit Trivedi.
