‘We need all your love’, writes Suriya as his 38th film takes auspicious start with puja ahead of shoot

All that starts well should end well, would be what the team of Suriya’s 38th film would be hoping for. The team on Sunday kicked off the film with a puja a day ahead of the shoot and expressed their delight while asking audiences for support.

The members of the team took to social media to share pictures of the ceremony before the shooting scheduled to commence on Monday. Suriya requested fans for support while informing, “Starting shoot with #DirSudhaKongara from tomorrow...! We need all your love..!!”  

Sudha Kongara is known for helming the bilingual  ‘Saala Khadoos’-’Irudhi Suttru.’ Malayalam actress Aparna Balamurali is paired opposite Suriya. Guneet Monga, whose recent short film ‘Period.End of Sentence' won an Oscar is among the producers of the movie. 

The ‘Ghajini’ star’s wife Jyothika, father Sivakumar, brother Karthi, all actors, were also present for the event. 

GV Prakash will be composing the music for the movie.

According to reports, the movie is based on Air Deccan founder GR Gopinath.
