Yash starrer 'KGF' is not running out of theatres anytime soon in the US, here's why

There is indeed some really great news for fans of Kannada star Yash. His latest release 'KGF' which has been wreaking havoc at the box office is really making an impact in the United States. The Prashant Neel directorial did not run for too long but now those who have not watched the film will get an opportunity once again.

It turns out that 'KGF' is being re-released in the US. The action-packed film will release across 35 locations across the country. Apparently, when the film released initially it had a good occupancy but had to be removed to accommodate other films. However, now that there is a lull and no other major film is coming out, the movie's distributors in the country have decided to re-release it again. 

Well, it is certainly great news for fans of the actor and of Sandalwood films in the country. Meanwhile, 'KGF' is also one of the few films which actually made its way to Pakistan. Not only did it do that, but it also did a pretty good business in the neighbouring nation. As for the film's overall business, it is indeed legendary as it had blasted past Rs 200 crore, a figure unheard of in Kannada cinema.

Not only that but the lead man Yash has apparently decided to start working on 'KGF: Chapter 2' straight away. He was initially supposed to do another film before working on the much-awaited sequel. However, after seeing the love that 'KGF' has received, he decided on the contrary. If reports are to be believed, fifteen per cent of the flick has already been shot. 

Based on the famous Kolar Gold Fields in Karnataka, 'KGF' is the story about the rise of Rocky Bhai, played by Yash from an orphan on the streets to one of the most dreaded gangsters in the country. A two-part film, the first one dealt with him carrying out an assassination mission in the gold mines and whether he succeeds in this mission or not.
