Dulquer Salmaan and Sunny Deol shared screen space in the thriller film Chup: Revenge of the Artist (2022). The King of Kotha actor joined the bandwagon of people heaping praise on Gadar 2, as the film crosses the Rs 400 crore mark. Following the success of Deol’s Gadar 2, Dulquer spoke highly about his co-star and praised his work ethic.

Dulquer Salmaan heaps praises on Sunny Deol

Dulquer Salmaan is currently on a promotional tour for his series Guns & Gulaabs. During an interview with Siddharth Kannan, the actor reflected on the box office success of Gadar 2. Salmaan heaped high praise on his Chup co-star for featuring in an out-and-out action flick despite having ‘aches and pains’.

In the interview, Dulquer said, “I feel happy for him. I know the amount of work he puts into films. I know he has some aches and pains, he went through some surgery and stuff. And he now goes and does this full-on action film, and he has put everything into this.” He added that he feels very happy seeing photos and videos of the actor coming out of the airport smiling. He concluded by saying, “He (Sunny Deol) just looks so happy and glowing. I love it.” 

Dulquer Salmaan advises Vijay Deverakonda to ride on the box office success

Dulquer has reacted positively to the box office success of movies and hopes for his upcoming movie to reciprocate the same reception. Recently, the actor featured in a joint promotional video with Vijay Deverakonda.The actors came together ahead of the release of their respective films King of Kotha and Kushi. 

While talking about the box office success, the Guns & Gulaabs actor advised his peers that they should take advantage of movies like Gadar 2 and Jailer doing well at the box office. They opined that “it is a good time for cinema” and if “it's a wave, they should definitely ride it.” Dulquer and Vijay hoped for their films to do well amid the other box office successes like Jailer, Gadar 2 and OMG 2.
