Kushi on OTT: When and Where to watch Samantha Ruth Prabhu-Vijay Deverakonda film?

Kushi released on the big screens on September 1. The film marks the last outing of Samantha Ruth Prabhu before her career hiatus. After a month of its theatrical release and a decent box-office collection, the film will premiere on OTT soon.

Kushi to premiere on OTT soon 

Kushi collected over Rs 35 crore on its opening weekend in India. However, the business saw a major dip from Monday onwards, and Kushi never regained momentum. After a 14-day box-office run, the film has raked ₹45.87 crore at the domestic box office, as per Sacnilk. The movie failed to breach the ₹50 crore mark.

After its box-office failure, the Samantha Ruth Prabhu starrer is all set to premiere on OTT. The digital platform Netflix shared the announcement on the social media on the movie premiering soon. Sharing the film’s poster the caption read, “Now screaming, kicking and giggling with Khushi 🥰 because #Kushi is coming to Netflix! Arrives on 1 October in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi! 🍿”

What is Kushi about? 

Kushi is a Telugu-language romantic comedy film written and directed by Shiva Nirvana. This film was released on 1 September 2023. It tells the tale of Viplav, an employee in BSNL who falls in love with Aradhya, a corporate professional in iLabs Centre and a Brahmin girl. Viplav and Aradhya get married against their parents' wishes and soon face relationship problems, along with insecurities, jealousy, and other factors. 

The film marks the second collaboration between Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu after their 2018 film Mahannati. Samantha has taken a career hiatus after wrapping up the release of Kushi. The actress has taken a break to take care of her health. However, she will be seen in the web series Citadel soon.
