Shankar completes 30 years in industry, celebrates with Indian 2 and Game Changer teams

Director S Shankar, currently has a packed schedule. He is working on Game Changer and Indian 2, two big ticket pan-India movies. Amid this, the filmmaker recently reached a professional milestone when he completed 30 years in the industry.

Shankar Shanmugam completes 30 years as a filmmaker

Shankar's debut film released in 1993, marking the begining of his journey. He has now completed 30 years in the industry. On the occassion,  the teams of Indian 2 and Game Changer came together for a small celebration.

A video of the director gracing the party shows him being welcomed by a room full of people. He is presented with a bouquet. Shankar Shanmugam is then ushered towards the centre of the room where he cuts a two-tiered cake. The attendees then proceed to take pictures to commemorate the occasion. Lead actors of the films could not attend the event.

Shankar has 2 big releases lined up

Shankar Shanmugam is going through an enviable phase on the work front with 2 big banner releases currently in production. The first one is Kamal Haasan-starrer Indian 2. The film will see the veteran actor return as Senapathy, a character he played in Indian (1996).  Game Changer, on the other hand, will be Ram Charan's first release post Acharya. The film saw him share screen space with Chiranjeevi. Game Changer also stars Kiara Advani who will be paring up with Ram Charan once again, post 2019 film Vinaya Vidheya Rama.
