Suriya is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Kanguva. Touted to be an action-packed flick with a Viking, medieval background, Kanguva is expected to be one of the big-budget releases of 2024. After Suriya had arrived in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh for another schedule for Kanguva last month, the shoot has now concluded.

Kanguva team concludes Rajahmundry schedule
As per reports, the latest schedule for Kanguva concluded recently, and a picture from its sets is currently going viral on social media. In the pictures, the director Siva and the cinematographer Vetri Palanisamy posed along with the filming cameras mounted on the tripods. The picture is currently circulating on social media.

Kanguva to be a pan-India film?
Kanguva’s hype has skyrocketed ever since its announcement. As per reports, Kanguva is expected to be the most expensive film of Suriya’s career. The first look for the film was released earlier this year and showed Suriya in a dark fantasy setting as he was set atop a horse.
While these visuals gave credence to the rumours of Kanguva’s pan-India stature, it was announced that Kanguva is going to release in more than 10 languages across the country. Moreover, the film will have a 3D release as well. While an IMAX release is expected, no announcements for the same have yet been made.

Besides Suriya, Kanguva also stars character artist Jagapathy Babu in a prominent role. The film’s music is composed by 9-time Filmfare winner Devi Sri Prasad. Bollywood stars Bobby Deol and Disha Patani will also mark their south debut with the film.
