Vijay Deverakonda reacts to the ‘feminist’ line in the film’s trailer
Kushi trailer was released on August 9, days before the release of the film. In the trailer, Vijay’s character, Viplav can be heard saying he is a “feminist”. This dialogue of the actor has caught the attention of netizens.

At the trailer launch of Kushi, held in Hyderabad, Vijay addressed the concerns about the dialogue. As quoted by DNA, the actor said, “Now what to do, they had called me a misogynist so many times. Everybody had called me this so many times. But those who know me know who I am. So I don't need to say anything beyond that.”
Vijay Deverakonda also spills beans on marriage plans
Talking about his plans of getting married, the actor revealed that he has finally come to terms with it and warmed up to the idea. He mentioned that previously, no one was allowed to mention ‘marriage’ in front of him, but now, he has seen happy marriages of his friends and so he is ready to get married. The actor also added that he has been ready for marriage and has been “finding partners” for a while. He stated, “I have not been ready for marriage. I think now, maybe in a couple of years. Let's see."
