‘Bigg Boss 11’ winner Shilpa Shinde is back as Angoori Bhabhi, but only for this reason

‘Bigg Boss 11’ winner Shilpa Shinde just surprised her fans who were missing seeing her play the character of Angoori Bhabhi from the popular television show ‘Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai’. Shilpa Shinde recreated Angoori Bhabhi’s character for a very special reason. Shilpa Shinde was seen essaying the character of Angoori Bhabhi one more time, but it was only for her friend and fellow ‘Bigg Boss 11’ contestant Luv Tyagi.

On Thursday, Shilpa Shinde wished Luv Tyagi on Instagram in her signature Angoori Bhabhi style by posting a video. In her message, Shilpa revealed why she chose to dress up as Angoori Bhabhi for the occasion and the reason is Luv’s love for the character. During the ‘Bigg Boss 11’ stint, Luv used to tell Shilpa that he used to miss her antics as television’s favourite ‘bhabhi ji’ which is why the actress thought of recreating Angoori Bhabhi on Luv Tyagi’s birthday on Thursday.

Luv Tyagi was quick to comment on the post saying how happy the video made him and how much he missed her. He wrote, “Shilpa ji you just made me smile. Miss you," he wrote.”

During ‘Bigg Boss 11’, Luv Tyagi was close to Hina Khan and Priyank Sharma. However, towards the end of the season, he bonded with Shilpa Shinde too.

On the work front, Shilpa Shinde is currently shooting for her cricket based IPL show ‘Dhan Dhana Dhan’ with Sunil Grover which is a hit with the internet. In the show, Sunil Grover is seen portraying the role of Professor LBW, while Shilpa Shinde’s character is Googly Devi. The show has garnered positive reviews and already has a huge fan following.

In February, Shilpa Shinde reportedly withdrew a sexual harassment case against ‘Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai’ producer Sanjay Kohli. In March 2017, Shilpa had filed an FIR claiming Sanjay had sexually harassed her on the sets of the popular TV show. Shilpa had accused Sanjay Kohli of sexual misconduct and claimed he tried to touch her inappropriately on the sets of their show.

Shilpa had also a fallout with TV producer Gupta over her show ‘Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai’. Vikas, who was the programming head of the TV channel on which ‘Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai’ was aired, was alleged to be one of the persons instrumental in Shinde's exit from the show. Owing to the alleged incident, Shilpa Shinde had a bittersweet relationship with fellow contestant Vikas Gupta on 'Bigg Boss 11', which went on to become one of the highlights of the show. Shilpa used to show her anger towards Vikas in the initial days, which according to Gupta was "torturous". ‘Bigg Boss 11’ host Salman Khan had pointed out that though the banter between them looked entertaining, they should let go of their past. Since then the two became cordial with each other.
