Bigg Boss 13: Is Ameesha Patel a good ‘malkin’ of the house?

Salman Khan kick-started the newest season of Bigg Boss with much fanfare. The makers of the show have introduced some drastic changes in the show this year since the last season did not perform well. Hence, fans have high expectations from the show this time. The Bigg Boss house is set up in Film City, Goregaon.

What is Ameesha Patel doing in Bigg Boss 13?

The newest element introduced in the show is Bollywood actor Ameesha Patel. She will be seen donning the role of the malkin, aka landlady, of the house. Ameesha gave a grand performance during the premiere and set the stage on fire. She is now gearing up to do the same in the Bigg Boss house.

On the first day itself, when the contestants entered the house, Ameesha came in twice with tasks. The contestants complained to Ameesha about not having enough grocery in the house. To this effect, Ameesha played a little game to help them win food. She asked the contestants to pass food around using their mouths. This led to a majority of people complaining about how this act was not suitable for a television show watched together by families.

Ameesha also asked the male contestants to model in front of the girls. She asked the female contestants to then write on their bodies. This was also pointed out to be an inappropriate game for the show. Viewers have complained about how Ameesha Patel has taken the games too seriously. Many have also taken to social media to showcase their anger.

On the first day itself, viewers were in for a treat. Contestants Asim Riaz, Paras Chhabra, and Siddharth Dey got into a verbal spat. Bigg Boss 13 has a list of celebrity contestants after last year’s concept of contestants and civilians together did not work out for the show. The weekly episodes of Bigg Boss 13 will air on Colors TV from Monday to Friday at 10:30 pm. Fans are eagerly awaiting how each of the contestants will play out their games on the show.
