Bigg Boss 13: Pratyusha Banerjee's mother supports Siddharth Shukla

Bigg Boss 13 has been going strong and has just recently finished its midseason finale. One of the most popular choices for the winner is the television actor Siddharth Shukla. He is one of the fan favourite choices and has also garnered support from other celebrities outside the Bigg Boss house. Recently, the mother of the late TV actor Pratyusha Banerjee said that she thought Siddharth Shukla could win this season of Bigg Boss.

The two actors Siddharth Shukla and Pratyusha Banerjee once worked together in the popular TV show Balika Vadhu. Sadly, Pratyusha Banerjee passed away in April of 2016 at the age of 24. The mother of Pratyusha Banerjee, Soma Banerjee was recently interviewed by an entertainment portal. During the interview, she was asked if she thought Siddharth Shukla could win Bigg Boss 13.

Soma Banerjee replied by saying that she thought Siddharth Shukla could win. She also added that while she did not follow the show regularly, she did hear good things about him from people that did follow the show. She said that Siddharth Shukla was good to her daughter, Pratyusha Banerjee, as well.

She then recalled a day when he had come over to her house, especially because he wanted to eat litti chokhas, a traditional Bihari dish which he had first tasted on the set of Balika Vadhu when Pratyusha had brought the dish to the filming. She said that they had a great evening that day with Siddarth Shukla. Finally, Soma Banerjee wished Siddarth Shukla the best to pull off and win the popular reality show Bigg Boss 13.

Bigg Boss 13's recent midseason finale was a highly controversial one. Some of the most fan favourite candidates were eliminated on Sunday's episode. The elimination of Rashami, Devoleena and Shefali is one of the most controversial twists in Bigg Boss 13. Now new wildcard entries have now entered the Bigg Boss house.
